The most common place visited in China is the great wall of china in Beijing. The main area to visit the great wall is about 2 hours drive from the centre of Beijing. You can do long hikes, or short wall walks depending on your time and fitness. These can be arranged via local travel agencies across the area. After visiting the great wall of China, you can then visit the city palace with its many walls.
Moving on, you can use your Chinese visa to visit Xian, which is the home of the world famous terracotta warrior statues, which were only discovered some 50 years ago. From there you can move onto Suzhou which allows you to access and visit many beautiful old gardens.
